| Deltarian Civic Forum is proposing to set a term limit for election to the office of President of the Federal Republic. Amendment: Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President of Federal Republic more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President of Federal Republic, or acted as President of Federal Republic, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President of Federal Republic shall be elected to the office of the President of Federal Republic more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President of Federal Republic when this article was proposed by the Ministry of Justice and Freedom to the National Forum, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President of Federal Republic, or acting as President of Federal Republic, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President of Federal Republic or acting as President of Federal Republic during the remainder of such term. Section 2. The term of President of Federal Republic is 4 years. By the Section 1 of this Amendment he can only serve two terms, 8 years. Section 3. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several Provinces within seven years from the date of its submission to the Provinces by the National Forum of Federal Republic of Deltaria.
