Today this message arrived at the presidential manor, we like this proposal to be reviewed by parliament. The discussion whether we should accept or deny is now open. "I, Corrado Passero, President of the Repubblica Istaliana, propose to the Federatie van Verbonden Staten (Vanuku) a treaty of friendship and mutual recognition, on the following terms: Article I - Friendship and understanding between Repubblica Istaliana and Federatie van Verbonden Staten (Vanuku) is understood that the nations of Repubblica Istaliana and Federatie van Verbonden Staten (Vanuku) will not attack each other at any point unless the other nation attacks first. Article II - Repubblica Istaliana and Federatie van Verbonden Staten (Vanuku) will increase trade with each other over the course of the next decade, opening the doors of trade through mutual free trade. Article III - Repubblica Istaliana and Federatie van Verbonden Staten (Vanuku) will allows each other nations citizens travel unchallenged, unmolested within the nation except for cursory security checks which are decided by the respective nations national legislatures. Article IV - Repubblica Istaliana and Federatie van Verbonden Staten (Vanuku) agree to respect each nations culture, politics and history. Article V – In addition to respecting the culture of each nation, Repubblica Istaliana and Federatie van Verbonden Staten (Vanuku) agree to attempt to tie their cultures together and to encourage the citizens of both nations to develop a mutual and long-lasting respect for one another by encouraging cultural exchanges. Article VII- Both nations shall construct embassies in the other nation at the conveinience of that nation’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry shall be held under the rules and protocols of the nation in which they are built. Article VIII- Both nations shall agree to deploy a diplomatic attachment to staff their embassy. In addition to the diplomatic staff, each nation is allowed to deploy 100 soldiers in defense of their embassy. This number is not to be exceeded. Article IX- Both nations agree to financially support their diplomatic and military staff on foreign soil." |
