Bill: Forest Conservation Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Socialist Party of Vorona

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3400

Description[?]:

The law currently allows for local Governments to decide Forest Protection policy for the Forests under their jurisdiction. This sadly allows for local authorities to tear apart the forests under their protection to their heart's content.

We propose that the National Government take on this responsibility, with those who wish to take-part in Logging and the felling of trees requiring a license.

We believe this is the best strategy for conserving and protecting our nation's beautiful environment from further destruction and ruin.
