Bill: Military Segregation (Abolition) Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progress Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 3483

Description[?]:

Monsieur le président,

Just as the nation moves toward the abolition of discrimination against religious minorities in the military, so too is it time we end the shame of women being forced to serve in second-rate segregated military units. Our armed forces should be fully integrated, with men and women serving alongside each other as full equals.

Avril Reault
Prime Minister

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.
