It is the opinion of the SvS that forcing peasant children to attend school instead of permitting them to work in the fields and factories puts an untenable strain on their family's finances. Therefore, schooling shall be restricted only to the people who have use for it ; gentleborn, and to sons of wealthy merchants. |
