Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3516

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

A overspending on education is one of the signs of a wasteful economy. A good way of ensuring that higher education stays free and open for everybody, but also adequate incitements that makes students think twice before taking a course for tax money, would be scrapping the fully subsidization of tuition in favour of a system with means tested loans, to be paid back by students after earnings reach a certain amount.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.
