Bill: The Strikebreaker Act of 3525
Details
Submitted by[?]: Vonkajšíci
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 3526
Description[?]:
Workers unhappy with their pay or conditions are perfectly within their rights to quit, assuming that they give the required amount of notice as stipulated in any contractual agreements they have previously entered into. Attempting to organise their fellow workers into syndicates and threaten their employers is a shameful act of blackmail. We would even go so far as to consider it "domestic terrorism". Therefore, we believe the laws should be altered to support the heroic men and women involved in Strikebreaking Actions, and to punish the cowards and traitors who would attempt to undermine them. Leofric Baldwin, Minister for Trade and Industry |
