| Herr Präsident, we believe that those who work the land should own it and that the state should sell forests to farmers and foresters based on existing contracts. This will save the government lots of money spent on administration of the national forestry agency. The protection of forests and their public character as a natural resource can be maintained without nationalization by keeping the strict forest protection laws we currently have in place.
