Bill: Cabinet Proposal of December 3582

Details

Submitted by[?]: Det kazulianske Arbeiderparti

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3583

Description[?]:

Due to the disastrous and rapid defeat of the Labour Party in December of 3582, we have decided to redraw from the leftist cabinet for the time being. We will hopefully return to government along with our Left-Green allies in four years. Labour will from now on focus on internal reconstitution and our aim for victory in 3586. In the meantime, we will support a Left-Green minority government, and we hope to preserve their support for Labour's Chief of State candidate in the next elections.

- Silas Wang,
Chairman-elect of the
Kazulian Labour Party

OOC: This is solely in order to create some realism on my party's Wikia page. As of 3582, Labour has been "in government" since 3570, which looks kind of weird in the mentioned page's table of Labour's electoral results. This is just a good opportunity for a temporary break. It will have no real effect on anything, including Left-Green and Labour relations.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".
