Bill: Budget proposal of February 3603

Details

Submitted by[?]: Partido Monárquico de Baltusia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3604

Description[?]:

The Partido Monárquico de Baltusia propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the República Democrática de Baltusia.

With a tax reform in debate, we feel that it is appropriate to propose a reduction of the government's budget. As there is currently a budget deficit which cannot be allowed to continue, the trimming of certain strategic departments while maintaining functionality and superiority will not only provide for a surplus to potentially reach 60 Billion, which the government can, in one electoral term, use to bolster this nation's coffers in order to allow for an inestimable number of private projects to be continued, but also make the economy much more suitable for the 5th largest nation on Terra.

-Eusebio Olmos, Royal Minister of Finance

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.
