Bill: Reform der Prostitution, 3607

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberale Volkspartei

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 3608

Description[?]:

Herr Präsident,

criminalizing prostitution is an excessively harsh policy that severly interferes with private autonomy on several levels. While we all can agree that some things are certainly morally undesirable from a theological and traditional point of view, we should not politicize morality to the extent where we outlaw certain professions because they may seem offensive to some. Instead of the current ban, we should create a safe working environment based on legalization and recognition, to which common safety standards can be applied just as in any other profession.
