Bill: Budget proposal of September 3622

Details

Submitted by[?]: Rutanian Republican Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3623

Description[?]:

The United Voice propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Commonwealth of Rutania.

As it stands, the Rutanian budget has room to expand its reinvestment into the nation. Our economic circumstances tell us, in all reality, that now is the time to put tax income to good use. The government should not just hold onto said income, and the United Voice asks that is put back into our communities where it can spur both public and private confidence and enterprise.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
