Bill: Alternate to New Elections Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Rutanian Republican Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 3626
Description[?]:
New elections to compensate for the Labourist abandonment of the electorate are a major inconvenience on voters, a major unwarranted expense, and a subversion of the democratically determined balance of power as decided by the people at the last election. We can save the people time and money by not supporting the recall as proposed by Solidarity, and act to save money in future by reducing the number of publically paid politicians in parliament. |
