UPON the passage of this bill, Hobratsi shall be formally known as the Hobrazian Empire. The following constitutional amendments will also take effect. ARTICLE I: Maximus Wagner, the current Head of State, will be granted this post indefinitely and the post shall be hereditary. The head of government shall be a separate official who chairs the cabinet. Claimants to the throne must be the oldest male heir, or oldest female heir in the event of no male offspring. ARTICLE II: The nomenclature for the Head of Government shall be Imperial Viceroy. ARTICLE III: The nomenclature for the hereditary Head of State shall henceforth be known as the Grand Emperor. He shall be addressed as His Imperial Majesty in formal occasions or simply Emperor in less formal occasions. ARTICLE IV: The elected parliamentary body, currently named the Hobrazian National Council, shall henceforth be called the Imperial Diet. ARTICLES V and VI: The Grand Emperor may grant hereditary titles of nobility to notable individuals and houses. ARTICLE VII: The Grand Emperor had the right to appoint mayor of cities. ARTICLE VIII: Members or the Imperial Diet shall be compensated an average salary for their duties, as determined by the Minister of Finance. ARTICLE IX: The Grand Emperor is the only individual with the right to propose a cabinet, which must then be approved by the Imperial Diet. |
