Bill: Forestry Commission

Details

Submitted by[?]: Vrné Eslam (Green Theocracy)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3646

Description[?]:

Big business is strip-mining our forests. This focus on short-term profits at the expense of our natural environment, native species, scientific potential, and national well being is a crime of monstrous proportions. This bill will ensure that our children will grow up knowing what a tree is, and that future medicines will not be destroyed before they can be uncovered from our forest wildlife.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.

Random quote: "The theory of Communism may be summed up in the single sentence: abolition of private property." - Karl Marx
