Bill: People and State - United!
Details
Submitted by[?]: Beluzian Jamahiriya Revival
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3649
Description[?]:
We fear that the international bourgeoisie may attempt to turn the fair citizens of Beluzia against the state with lies and scaremongering, by taking advantage of private media and Beluzia's lax laws. To counter this threat, we propose the following pre-emptive measures. We hope that all parties will notice that we have taken the middle ground on all issues - we are not making TV and radio state-run; not totally banning international media; nor totally banning criticism of the government - all of which are options. We are simply protecting the state from various enemies, both foreign and from within. |
