Details

Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 3668
Description[?]:
The Conservative Party offers the following ecological reforms as part of a broader package following the defeat of another single-focused bill. Our government has strict forestation policy, but we argue local governments naturally have a better idea of development. The Conservative Party notes under current law the federal government manages all forest land already. Under these proposals, the federal government will be required to work with local governments on development policies that adequately balance forest preservation and replantation while also ensuring our economy grows. The federal government should get out of regional and local governments' ways on every issue can. Respectfully submitted and proposed. |
