| The Caliph is dead. All hail the new Caliph! With great sadness the Shura notes that His Excellency the Sublime Lord Caliph Saif ibn Ahmed has passed away. The Shura therefore confirms that His Royal Highness Prince Ali ibn Ameen shall be elevated to the office of Caliph in succession to his cousin. |
