Bill: Orange Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Orange Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3682
Description[?]:
"In the last election the people of Dorvik addressed their grievances with the Orange Alliance. They have shown that when the party compromises legislative success for government compromise we have forgotten what we became a party for. As the nations smallest party it is only right that we resign all of our cabinet seats, and whilst Interior Minister Jon Goodall Defected to the Monarchist Party before the last election, he has agreed too to resign his ministry to allow the largest parties in Dorvik to formally present their plan for this next term. As a party we have had a tumultuous past with ups and downs, but we are keen to reaffirm our commitment to our legislative pledges by Moving the Orange Act to the house for vote. It outlines the core principles of what an Orange nation would look like. Finally the Orange Alliance looks forward to serving the people once more in opposition and wishes our new President and eventual Cabinet the best of luck in serving this great nation." Outgoing Environment and Culture Minister Leo Kashel who came last in both parliamentary and Presidential elections following his takeover of the leadership of the Orange Alliance. Sarojini Kumal resigned following ill health and rumours of cancer. |
