Bill: Property Freedom Act. -2164-

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal-Progressive Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2165

Description[?]:

This bill repeals the current law known as "eminent domain" which is nothing more than government excess of power. Private ownership of property is just that -private- and the government has no right to take at will, the property of it's citizens no matter how "vital" a government project is deemed to be.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.

Random quote: "We must face the fact that the preservation of individual freedom is incompatible with a full satisfaction of our views of distributive justice." - Friedrich August von Hayek
