Description[?]:
1. First Direct, Local elections shall take place on March 15th 3713, Second elections shall take place on March 15th 3716 and further elections shall take place every four years. 2. Ballots shall contain images of the candidates but shall contain no reference to political parties and shall optionally have a section for ideology. 3. Elections shall work as a First Past The Post system however if no candidate receives over 51% of the vote then a second round of elections shall take place with only the two candidates with the most votes on the ballot sheet. In the second round a candidate must receive a plurality of votes to win the election. 4 Elections must take place without interference by the candidates other than campaigning and without corrupt measures or vote rigging. 5. Violation of sections one through four shall incur a minor jail sentence and a fine of up-to 1000 DNT. 6. The Recognized Federal, Unitary or Confederal Government of Vorona or successor nations have the right to enforce these regulations. 7. This law shall remain in-force indefinitely unless direct elections for mayors is revoked. |
