| [OOC: This is basically a name change to the "Republic of Dolgaria." The fanciness is just for RP, and to emphasize my party's cause. Of course, this whole thing can be overruled in the future if a conflicting bill passes.] Should this Act pass in November of 3754, it shall be officialized that the People and Government of the Empire of Dolgaria have hereby elected to: - uphold the right of the People to decide on their Leader, rather than allow an outdated monarchy to assume precedence over all matters in Dolgaria - focus on the importance of the Dolgarian homeland in order to redirect the Government's priorities away from the expansion of an Empire, or pursuit of political gain by involving itself in foreign affairs or conflicts, that do not directly involve the Government or People of Dolgaria Therefore, the passage of this Act shall result in the following: ARTICLE I - The Republic of Dolgaria is created. The current Constitution of the Empire of Dolgaria is used as the establishing law of the Republic, but all forms of monarchy are hereby banned. ARTICLE II - All current laws, holdings, properties, Parliament (Reichstag) members, services, and citizens of the Empire of Dolgaria are hereby released from the Empire's control, or their control of the Empire, and are immediately usurped by the Republic of Dolgaria to resume their identical roles. ARTICLE III - The Empire of Dolgaria is dissolved. ARTICLE IV - (i) This Republic hereby rejects all monarchical or dynastic claims to all Dolgarian lands currently held by the Republic of Dolgaria. (ii) Dynasties and noble families such as the House of Rothringen-Ludwig are not officially recognized by the Republic of Dolgaria, except in cases where historical context is required for a resolution (iii) No honorary titles are to be issued to the Head of State or Head of Government. Official titles are limited to only include the official positions of the Leaders. (iv) The following names for the position of Head of State or Head of Government are hereby banned: "Emperor", "Kaiser", "King/Queen", "Prince/Princess", "Imperator", "His/Her Grace/Majesty", "Supreme Leader", "Grace of God", "Heavenly Father/Mother" |
