Bill: Declaration of War Against the Commonwealth of Baltusia
Details
Submitted by[?]: Vorona Conservative Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 3779
Description[?]:
Members of Congress, I had originally thought that this would be a short war. That this would be a war where bloodshed was little and losses were minimal. Unfortunately, that is not the case. With the entry of Baltusia into the war on the side of the aggressors, I cannot sit by and say that we will not retaliate. Vorona will retaliate! We will fight Zardugal, and we shall now fight Baltusia. Vorona has been the target of such imperialist nations as they for centuries, and I will not allow foreigners to take over our society! Members of Congress, I request a declaration of war against Baltusia for their declaration of war against our sovereign nation, Vorona. President George Cromwell ----- Article 1 To declare war on the Commonwealth of Baltusia. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
Random quote: "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson |
