Bill: Military Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Progressives
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3780
Description[?]:
Mr. Consul, The Democratic Progressives finds it appalling that we mandate the use of nuclear weapons if victory is "not feasible by any other means". Is the pride of our nation worth more than the lives of many innocents? The detrimental effect of nuclear weaponry has been shown time and time again. This comes especially in light of the recent conflict between Zardugal and Vorona, which shows the devastating impact of biological and chemical weapons. If such is the case, who knows the damage nuclear weaponry could inflict. It is simply under moral grounds that we do not use these weapons, and should only do so in retaliation for a devastating attack on us. Princeps Senatus Malagasy Thatcher |
