Bill: Torture

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Territorial Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2053

Description[?]:

In matters of national emergency, our authorities should have the power to use all means to extract vital information from those whom they no possess it. It is highly likely that, out of love for their country, this process is already underway even now. It is unfair that these patriots should go punished for serving their country in this profound way. We are not asking for torture to become standard procedure, only for it to be allowed as a last resort when many lives are at stake.
