This Act will create a central governing body for Jelbek Ahmadis who generally lack structure in their faith. Article 1 The Act hereby creates the Ahmadi Ecclesiastical Board (AEB). Article 2 The AEB is to consist of 15 members, appointed by the Khan on the advice of his Mnistrs. Article 3 The Grand Mufti of Baofluz is to be the Chairman of the AEB ex-officio. Article 4 The AEB's main duties are to + Supervise the administration and maintenance of Ahmadi houses of worships, endowed properties. +Appoint the provincial Qadis, Walis and other clergy. + act as a tribunal of final appeail on questions of Ahmadi law. + issue fatwas (legal opinions) on issues pertaining to Ahmadi law. |
