Bill: Constitutional Reform Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Beiteynu Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3804

Description[?]:

We propose that following the next legislative election the lifeterm of a legislature is reduced to 24 months. This serves to reinforce democracy and provide a check to elective dictatorship by ensuring that the Beiteynu people are able to regularly cast a vote at the national level on national policies.

As soon as this Reform is passed early elections shall be called.

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.

Random quote: "The radical of one century is the conservative of the next. The radical invents the views. When he has worn them out the conservative adopts them." - Mark Twain
