| The purpose of this bill is to further separate our police force and our military. The military should never be used against its own people. Let us make a clear distinction: The military fights any foreign enemies, the police protects us from crime and national emergencies. Having the military too involved in our internal affairs could quickly lead to a de-facto military dictatorship or increase the risk of the military staging all out coups. Let's separate the military and police effectively. This bill also wishes to make it clear that any militarization of the police should go strictly against the values of Solentia. |
