Bill: Proposal Quota Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Green Party (FGP)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3814
Description[?]:
The purpose of this bill is to allow greater levels of democracy and parliamentary debate. We see no reason to restrict the amount of proposals that a party can make to 6 proposals in any given month. Let's raise this level to 12. That way a party can remain neutral on new proposals for years but then quickly make proposals if the nation changes significantly in that time period. Let's say you have few seats currently and a lot of laws are changed that you disagree with. This bill would allow you to attempt to rectify those changes. All in all, more proposals are a great thing for the people of Solentia! |
