Bill: Regulation of Foreign Missionaries
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Green Party (FGP)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3814
Description[?]:
The Reform Option is a strong advocate of religious liberty. We also recognize the importance of registering any foreign missionaries. As the Nationalists have informed us recently, Kafuristan is becoming increasingly hostile towards us. We do not want them or other foreign nations to send missionaries whose goal is to harm our people. This is why we propose to register them so that it will be easier to find and expel any missionaries who preach violence or hate in our nation. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy concerning the visitation of foreign missionaries.
Old value:: The government has no policy concerning the visitation of foreign missionaries.
Current: The government selectively screens which religions are permitted to send missionaries to the nation. Certain religions are approved and travel is unregulated.
Proposed: The government requires foreign missionaries to register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
