The use of a "dirty float" (the practice of interfering with a floating exchange rate) weakens Lodamun's Economy as it can potentially introduce distortions in the import/export market. This reduces business confidence.

While having a dirty float does appear to have some benefits, the reality is that governments cannot change market behaviours and can only create distortions.
