| NATIONAL DESCRIPTION Kafuristan is a Majatran nation located on the Kafuri Peninsula, sometimes called the Majatran Peninsula. Kafuristan is loosely based on Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and other wealthier Middle Eastern nations. Kafuristan has been historically divided between Baathist, liberal republican movements, monarchist and radical Abadi or Ahmadist governments. Kafuristan views other Majatran nations such as Solentia as unbelievers and sees the restoration of Quanzar as an instrumental policy, therefore historically relations with those two countries have been strained. Kafuristan has been the leading nation besides Al'Badara in Majatran affairs and remain a vocal proponent of enhancing and expanding the Majatran ethnicity throughout Majatra. ETHNICITY Majatran - 70% (Based on Arabs) Majatran Asli - 15% (Based on North Africans, they are related to the Asli, who are based on Sub-Saharan Africans) Augustans - 5% (Based on Byzantines who speak Esperanto and English, replacing Solentians as the "whites" of Majatra) Dorvish - 5% (Based on Baltic Germans and & Prussianized Germans) Kalopians - 2% (Based on modern Greeks) Delic - 2% (Based on the Slavs) Others - 1% RELIGION Ahmadi - 90% 1) Abadism - 50% (Shi'a Islam) 2) Irsaism - 20% (Sunni Islam) 3) Sahabism - 15% (Sufism) 4) Alawaism - 10% (Halawism) 5) Zahirism - 5% (Madhism) Hosianism - 5% Yuedism - 3% Other 2% LANGUAGE AND CHARACTER NAMES Characters should primarily be Arab, with a small minority being Augustans and Dorvish. Seeing as Arabic remains tough to translate, you are permitted to use English names or transliterated Arabic. |
