Bill: Lowering the Age of Compulsory Education
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3891
Description[?]:
Currently, the age of compulsory education is set at a ludicrous 21. However we strongly believe that the age of compulsory education should be decreased to 18. We believe 18 is a sensible age to end compulsory education, plus the OPTION of further education is still open to many Hutorians. It's just this way, more freedom is given and some people may want to get a job earlier on in life. Also, continuing to have the age of compulsory education at such a high age is a strain on the taxpayer and is costing our nation far, far too much. Currently, we are in need of reducing the budget somewhere, this is a perfect opportunity to do so. This proposal is literally win win! |
