| Mr Speaker, if a group of residents decides to build a fence around their properties collectively, then there is no reason why the government should stop them from doing so. In many cases, there may even be legitimate security concerns leading to such a decision. In any case, the government ought to refrain from restricting what people may or may not do with their private property, as long as they do not actively harm someone else through it.
