Bill: Fair Immigration Act, 3905

Details

Submitted by[?]: Borgerlig-Demokratiske Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 3905

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

our current immigration policy puts all burdens on the taxpayer and demands no contribution whatsoever from immigrants, giving unconditional financial aid and even citizenship (!) to anyone regardless of need, means or residence status. It is one thing to accept anyone who wishes to live in Kazulia - we support this to a certain degree - but it is a wholly different matter to allow for unregulated immigration into the welfare state. This bill will make sure that the Kazulian people are protected from foreigners who only seek to exploit our generous policies on integration aid and have no intention to pay respect to our guiding cultures and values. We therefore propose an approach where we retain a permissive stance on immigration but prosecute illegal border violations and demand economic self-responsibility from immigrants.
