An Act to rectify the coup put in place by the former regent, Andreas Hasselstrøm, upon the death of King Gustav IV, the brother of Her Grace the Queen. Section 1: Due notification of events regarding Her Grace. Sec. 1(a): The Assembly does recognize that upon the agreement of her marriage proposal, the Queen was duly married to His Grace via proxy, by a member of the Clergy. Sec. 1(b): The Assembly does hereby order her retrieval from the land of Telamon, fearing for her safety in the present climate. Section 2: Status of the Heir Apparent to the Telamonese Throne. Sec. 2(a): It is hereby known that Jan Arentoft-Damgaard, the only son of King Gustav IV, has been recognized as the lawful successor to the throne by the government of Barmenia. He shall be styled 'King Jan of Telamon', and shall be granted all formal diplomatic and political support he may require. Section 3: Status of the Kathre Declaration. Sec. 3(a): The King, in his wisdom, has decided asked for the repeal of section two of the Kathre declaration. The Assembly does hereby consent. Section 4: Enactment. Sec. 4(a): This bill shall be enacted upon its constitutional passage. |
