Bill: Public Transport Reform 3928
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3929
Description[?]:
Currently, public transport is fully "user-pays". However low-income households may not be able to afford public transport and may desperately need it to get to jobs and so forth. We believe that we should subsidize public transport for the most vulnerable in our society and this also encourages low-income households to travel via transport thus less traffic on the road (in case they are at some point able to use a car). |
