Description[?]:
This act is proposed in order to reform the direly undemocratic nature of the Federal Union's electoral system. Each proposal addresses the key problems addressing the running of our national and local elections. Proposal 1.) Private funding of political campaigns is an allowance of voice in the political process. Anyone with the means to do so should be allowed to donate to candidates, parties, and causes that they support. Those who need public funding for their campaigns will exchange that freedom for financing. Proposal 2.) Current policy does not address the complexity and scope of various region's rehabilitative programs and determination of the right of criminals to vote should be devolved to localities. In this way, the contours of local policy can be crafted into programs that work more effectively. Proposal 3.) All citizens will use their national ID for voter registration and access to polls |
