Bill: Educational Prayer Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Pnték Znkak Prta 'Bastardry'

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2173

Description[?]:

With a diverse culture such as that in Pontesi, the promotion of prayer in schools is superfluous as the government gains no benefit from it. In an age where the many citizens can choose so many religions, we feel it should be left up to them as to how and when they pray, and that the government should neutralise itself from this.
The removal of a recommendation, let it be noted, is not a condemnation, nor are we condemning the sacred rites of prayer in the many religions in today's Pontesi. However, it gives us no further control, and is talking to minds that can very well just say no anyway. In order to save time and expenditure, let us withdraw this encouragement in the name of free choice and governmental non-interference.
