Bill: The De-Fascization of Sekowo: Military Reforms

Details

Submitted by[?]: Yoko Kake Meguppātī

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3948

Description[?]:

Kodos Fairname issued the following statement:

Today we begin the implementation of what the people elected us to do. Perhaps the most important element of this is reform of the military. The military, in particular, must be de-fascized and turned back into a truly professional and non-political defence force. A few of the measures in this legislation, for instance local control over the military, may potentially be reversed at a later time if and when the military is de-fascized - and assuming cooperation with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the achievement of national reconciliation. But for the time being it is necessary to take military control away from the Generals who have for too long rained terror down upon Sekowo, and restore it to the people!
