Bill: Currency Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Free Democratic Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3948
Description[?]:
The more the government does to control inflation and the value of currency, the more trouble we will be in when a financial meltdown occurs. Letting the free market work may be "less stable", but it is better on the long term, and it promotes growth. Also, the financial collapses are not nearly as devastating. We disagree with the keynesians, and we will deregulate our currency. |

Random quote: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, from those who are cold and are not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children." - Dwight D. Eisenhower |
