Details
Submitted by[?]: RISE Movement
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3960
Description[?]:
Firstly, the reforms to Forresty: (Please refer to article 3) We need some control on the production of lumber as it is a needed resource for times such as going to war. Secondly, the changes to energy: (Please refer to article 1 & 2) For article 1, we are still letting private companies operate but making the majority of it publicly/government owned (were not a communist dictatorship) For article 2, we cannot possibly allow private companies to operate the national grid. Imagine how bad it would look for us as country if this company went bankrupt. Our people would be left without power or gas, a disaster? Yes. Thirdly, the policy change to housing: This is needed because were paying subsidies to low income to low-income households, surely we'd be better off to provide housing instead of subsidising private companies. This would also bring down house prices |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
