| Following the breakdown of public order in southern Polran, the Government hereby declares a state of siege in southern Polran for the next six months. The state of siege can only be renewed every six months with the consent of the National Divan. All but non-derogable rights are to suspended as the situation demands. The government is to assess the situation regularly and reserves the option of imposing martial law if the situation in southern Polran continues to deteriorate President Ardashir Karroubi |
