| Meneer de voorzitter, As the LSD has stated before: We totally agree with the fact that women have the right to abort unwanted children. The LSD is a pro-choice party, but this law isn't about abortions in particular, it's about the funding of these abortions. Current law states that the commonwealth pays for every abortion in this country, which is very costly operation. We provide free contraception, so it is your own " mistake " if you get pregnant in some way, which is why we propose that we only fund abortions done out of purely medical reasons, just because we feel that these people actually deserve the state's support in such a horrible case. |
