Description[?]:

- The Shura is the national legislature and is to be organised along traditional Jakanian political lines.
- A member of the Shura shall be chosen by their tribe and has to be a landowner in the particular tribe.
- The Government will show its approval of the a candidate by allocating funds for his election campaign.
- Only males may serve in the Shura.
- The Sultan may dissolve the Shura at his will and may dismiss or arrest any member of the Shura who offends his sultanic dignity.
