Marriage is defined as a religious union between 2 or more people. 2. Civil Partnerships are defined as a legal union between 2 or more people. 3. Marriage and Civil Partnerships are to be given the same legal recognition. Traditional Marriages 1. The government recognises any marriage or civil partnership between a man and a woman. Interracial Marriages 1. Any and all articles defining the illegality of interracial marriages and civil partnerships are to be repealed and made void. 2. The government officially recognises any marriage or civil partnership between people of different ethnic, racial or religious backgrounds. Same-sex Marriages 1. Any and all articles defining the illegality of same-sex marriages and civil partnerships are to be repealed and made void. 2. The government officially recognises any marriage or civil partnership between a same-sex couple. Polygamous Marriages 1. Any and all articles defining the illegality of polygamous marriages and civil partnerships are to be repealed and made void. 2. The government officially recognises any marriage or civil partnership between a couple, regardless of any previous or currently standing marriages. |
