Description[?]:

The members of the Konstitutsyonno-Demokraticheskaya Partia propose to confirm the current cultural protocol in place in our great empire. This is it:
BACKGROUND HISTORY
Trigunia was founded as a colony of Greater Hulstria, where at a certain point in its life contributed to near 10% of the Hulstrain Empire’s collective population. In the early 2500's thousands of Hulstrians immigrated from Hulstria to Trigunia during the reign of Aleksandr I. The Trigunian Tsar promised favorable business terms to the foreigners who would move to Trigunian and bring skills to his country. Since then Hulstrians living in Trigunia have experienced the same trials of Communism and Republicanism that Trigunia has faced, however they have managed to keep a strong ethnic identity but without alienating themselves from Trigunain society at large. Hulstrians historically fill skilled positions in Trigunian society with many being doctors, lawyers, and holding high level military positions. After the desolation of Greater Hulstria (Who ruled Trigunia for some time), Trigunia saw a series up internal uprising and revolutions. Most memorable being the communist uprising that resulted in what was known as the Union of Kerisian Socialist Republics. Trigunia has seen her share of revolutions and political changes, from being a socialist state, to a democratic state and to a monarchist state. Trigunia has been a leading nation since its foundation and has contributed numerous times to the world stage.

ETHNIC COMPOSITION
Trigunia is ethnically diverse nation in the northern hemisphere. With many Trigunians boasting of the countries diversity. With a breakdown in diplomatic relations between the Confederation of New Endralon and Kizenia, the Kizenian population within Trigunia were deported in retaliation to the Confederations treatment of Trigunians.
71% Rodshyan (Russian)
11% Kozaki (Ukrainian)
10% Hulstrian (German)
3% Majatran (Arabian)
2% Dolgavan (Latvian)
2% Egelionese (Spanish)
1% Other (Sullestian and other nationalities)

LANGUAGE COMPOSITION
The primary official national language is Rodshya (Russian) but the significant minorities speak Koazkian (Ukrainian), Hulstrian (German) and Modern Standard Majatran (Arabic) thus they would be acceptable in regional politics or political parties where minority rights or regional minority rights are prominent.

RELIGIOUS COMPOSITION
Religion plays a very important role in politics and in everyday life Trigunia. Although the times have changed from the folk dances of the northern tribes, and of the Kozaks, the nation and its people hold many religious values to heart. Trigunia is known for supporting any given religion once it is in the interest of the people, but there is a special relationship between the People of Trigunia and the Trigunian Patriarchal Church. The Apostolic Church of the East, although it holds a minor number of followers among the population, there are several government and military offices who identify themselves as Eastern Hosians. Although it holds a very small percent of followers among the population, Israism in Trigunia usually attracts those who wish not to be gripped onto the distortions of the world.

Religious Composition:

Terran Patriarchal Church (Slavic & Romanian mythology + Russian Orthodox Church) - 37%
Apostolic Church of the East (Eastern Christianity) - 30%
Aurorian Patriarchal Church (Catholic Church) - 13%
Israism (Sunni Islam) - 12%
Neo-pagan - 3%
Other - 5%

CHARACTER NAME CONVENTION

A majority of the characters would draw their names from Russian names, a significant minority would next be Ukrainian while the second would be Hulstrian (German), Majatran (Arabic), Dolgavian (Latvian), Egelionian (Spanish) and Kizenian (Romanian) names are acceptable but would rare and likely not to come up in very mainstream politics. As for the naming conventions of specific groups, the common naming conventions for Russian, Ukrainians, etc would apply.

PARTY NAME CONVENTION

As per the game rules, the party titles may be in English but it is suggested that party names be translated into Russian (Rodshya) and further transliterated from the Cyrillic alphabet. If you wish to use the Russian name of your party, we ask that you use the transliterated Russian. Suggestions for translations are google translator or Wiktionary.

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election.

Random quote: "Zardugal. . . very successfully almost managed to implement democracy on a global scale, a millennia ago. With a seat in the Security Council we can do it again." - Phoebe Ĥoniato, former Zardic politician
