The Minister of Internal Affairs Matilde Ciumariello: "I present this bill to the Parliament because the Government pursuing the respect of personal and individual choice for every istalian citizen, does not want to impose any more, either through exemptions and other advantages, to the people any form of population population control. In addition of the respect for citizens' choice, that we don't longer want discriminate them for demographic issues, the Government don't see any reason or need of growth for our population, who knows not only average good employment rates and an healthy population stratification in all its regions, but also found good birth rates and a large number of infants, children and young people. So the Ministery of Internal Affairs, according with the Ministery of Health and Social Service, presents a bill to withdraw the government from this field of action. Thank you all honorables members of the Chamber." |
