Bill: Jakanian-Deltarian Border Security

Details

Submitted by[?]: Halkın Eylem Partisi

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4089

Description[?]:

With communists and monarchists in a civil war in Deltaria, the Colony ought to secure its very long border with our northern neighbour. We propose to deploy an extra 25,000 men north and create a Border Stabilisation Agency to be staffed and controlled by the Department of Internal Security. We also propose to construct more fortifications and roads along the border regions. Thus the Board of directors proposes that the General Meeting consider these proposed appropriations before bloody commiinsm takes over or the violence spills over into the colony!

Random quote: "The moral justification of capitalism does not lie in the altruist claim that it represents the best way to achieve 'the common good.' It is true that capitalism does, if that catch-phrase has any meaning, but this is merely a secondary consequence. The moral justification for capitalism lies in the fact that it is the only system consonant with man's rational nature, that it protects man's survival qua man, and that its ruling principle is justice." - Ayn Rand
