Bill: Resolution: For a Democratic Kalistan

Details

Submitted by[?]: Parti Libertarien (PL)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 4116

Description[?]:

It has come to our attention that democracy is being undermined in the United Republic of Kalistan. The governing "Left Kalistan" party has decided to split itself into supposedly democratic caucuses and rule through a combination of them; political parties outside of these caucuses are forbidden. Caucuses with ideologies that are not firmly in the left wing of politics are also strictly forbidden.

Hence, once the thin veneer of democratic politics is scratched off, we can see the situation for what it really is: tyranny.

Myself, and other leaders around the world, feel it necessary to state our vehement opposition to this system, and urge the leaders of Kalistan to restore legitimate democracy. To that end, we propose a resolution of l'Assemblée Nationale as an official condemnation of these dictatorial practices. We urge the other parties and representatives of l'Assemblée Nationale, regardless of their personal politics, to support this resolution.

-Guillaume Beck
Président de la République de Aldurie
